MAY
Luncheon and lecture: "China and the EU: Challenges & Opportunities"
Updated: 2018-02-26 11:55

Time: May 17

Place: Steigenberger Wiltcher's, 71 Avenue Louise / Louizalaan, Brussels, Belgium

During the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China last October, the central Government has established its five-year program that will shape China's future development. More recently, the latest National People's Congress has brought some changes on the political level. How will these programs affect the economic development of China? What signals have been sent for the EU? What is Europe's reaction to these changes? And how will the EU and China collaborate to achieve their goals and mutually benefit from the latest reforms?

To try to give answers to those questions, the Belgian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (BCECC) is pleased to invite people to a luncheon and lecture on "China and the European Union: Challenges & Opportunities" with H.E. Mr. Zhang Ming, ambassador of the Mission of the People's Republic of China to the European Union, and Mr. Herman Van Rompuy, president emeritus of the European Council and Minister of State, on May 17, 2018 in Brussels.
