21st Century Maritime Silk Road Forum on Int'l Communication and Chinese (Guangdong) Industry Cooperation

About 400 participants including world-renowned scientists and scholars, heads of international mainstream media, officials of international organizations, heads of mainstream media of China and entrepreneurs will attend the forum.

Theme
With the theme of “Communication, Innovation, Sharing”, the forum is aimed at promoting international communication for Chinese (Guangdong) brands.

Under the theme “Communication”, the forum will serve as an exchange platform for mainstream media from home and abroad, especially those from countries along the Belt and Road, to discuss how to propel the development of state-to-state relations, enhance the friendship and mutual understanding between peoples. Based on the 40th anniversary of China’s reform and opening up, the forum will fully display achievements in cooperation between China and countries along the Belt and Road, aiming to strengthen global recognition and support for building a community of shared future for mankind on the basis of mutual benefits.

Under the theme “Innovation”, the forum will highlight discussions among governments, enterprises, institutions and experts on key issues including intelligent manufacturing, technological innovation, biomedicine, environmental protection and cultural industries. It will further discuss new opportunities created by the Belt and Road Initiative of giving new impetus to world economic growth in the era of post-financial crisis and de-globalization.

Under the theme “Sharing”, the forum will work to help synergize the development strategies of countries along the Belt and Road and encourage them to complement each other’s strengths, aiming to pursue shared growth with countries involved through discussion and collaboration. The forum will give a full display of the achievements of the integration of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and encourage countries involved to seize new opportunities created by the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in resource sharing, industrial agglomeration and regional development.
