During his recent visit in Germany, Wang has expounded China's position that China regards the "16+1 cooperation" as a part of and a beneficial supplement to its relations with Europe, in response to the questions from journalists that the European Union (EU) and Germany still have some different voices and opinions on the "16+1 cooperation”.
"China is looking forward to the integration of economic complementary advantages of China and Germany and the development demand of Central and Eastern European region, " said Wang.
Wang said that China and Germany could jointly carry out cooperation in specific projects, and striving for early landing, early implementation and early results of cooperation in the region.
"Companies from other EU countries are also welcomed to actively take part in the '16+1 cooperation', so as to form a sound situation with mutual benefits and multi-win results," said Wang.
Wang reiterated that the "16+1 cooperation" is an independent and voluntary cross-regional cooperation platform established by China and CEEC, which has become a part of and a beneficial supplement to the relations between China and Europe.
